Dean Statham Partner One of the First to be Awarded Coveted Corporate Finance Accreditation
The youngest Partner at Dean Statham Chartered Accountants, Stafford, is one of the first corporate finance accountants in the UK to have been awarded the prestigious CF qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
Jeremy Hodgkiss, 35, achieved the new Corporate Finance award through the experience route, having spent eight years with Stafford’s leading firm of accountants managing over 40 business transactions nationwide, from advising on complex mergers to negotiating sales, management buy-outs and key acquisitions.
The CF qualification is now a benchmark in the global corporate finance community with more than 1000 people from over 50 countries applying for CF designation. Applicants come from an array of backgrounds, including investment banking, law and private equity and only the best are approved by the ICAEW panel.
CF practitioners are regarded as top specialists in their field and uphold a world class standard in technical, practical and leadership skills. Jeremy’s accreditation now elevates Dean Statham as one of the best qualified firms in the region to handle corporate transactions from start-ups right through to flotation.
A delighted Jeremy Hodgkiss says, ‘To have achieved CF status is great news both for me and for Dean Statham. We are now recognised as quality assured corporate finance practitioners and possess the stamp of approval from the highest level in Britain. Our clients will also benefit, safe in the knowledge that they will receive the best advice and the best possible deal when appointing Dean Statham to manage their critical business transactions.’
Jeremy Hodgkiss will attend the first CF awards ceremony at Chartered Accountants’ Hall, London, EC2 2BP, on 31 October 2007.
